Hi, I’m Michael!

I’ve been in the IT Infrastructure space for over 20 years, and have worked my way up the ladder from Call Centre Agent, HelpDesk, Workstation Support, System Administrator. I have a passion for learning, and always find myself back in the office immersed in the latest tech and trying to make it work.

I’m a Microsoft Azure MVP, and have has spoken at both user groups and in-person conferences covering topics across the entire Azure platform from Azure Core Compute to Azure PaaS services.

I’ve published LinkedIn Learning courses on the AZ-801 exam objectives, and contribute regularly to the Microsoft Q&A platform as an Azure Community Champion.

I work for Avanade UK and Ireland as Azure Practice Lead, and live in Ireland with my wife and 2 children. When I’m not working, studying or blogging, I enjoy Running, Reading (both Tech and Fiction – I’m a bit of a True Crime addict!), and listening to Music and Podcasts.
